Materials needed: | lead(II)-nitrate (Pb(NO3)2), potassium chromate (K2CrO4) |
Safety (MSDSs): | lead(II)-nitrate, potassium chromate (at Fisher Scientific) |
Method: | 5,1 g Pb(NO3)2 and 3 g K2CrO4 are each solved in 30 ml deionized water and both solutions are poured together. The resulting precipitate is filtered off and dried at room temperature. |
